Stallion numbers - The female family sequence

Have you ever looked deep into the pedigree of a stallion and not considered the female family numbers of its origin/s ?
Don't worry - I've done that work for you [on current Australian based or satellite stallions].
Analysing the data for each stallion, based on their [FF] numbers within the first 5 generations of their pedigree, i have pegged where each stallion carries a dupe or double dose of any [FF] and recorded this in a horizontal matrix.
" If you do not measure it, you cannot improve it "
You can clearly see patterns jump out at you and to try and be the orator of what works, i love data and historically have used it well in business, shares and property, so all the old timers or nay sayers on data - this is not about forcing an opinion, it's clearly providing some detail in "one part of the pedigree". In this case, it is what foundations or [FF] lineage sits within the selected stallion.
I created a shortlist on what figures would indicate are the top echelon of the stallions

The information extrapolates through to A15 and is not quite double the width of the above report, so let's look at 2 obvious pattern and highlight those stallions that fit each pattern.
PATTERN 1 - Those with little or no representation of {FF] 3-4-5-6

The stallions are outstanding: Written Tycoon, I am Invincible, Justify, Shamus Award and All too Hard. So what does it mean ?
I'm not sure yet - have been studying these patterns for 6 months and whilst i have theories - let's see how the next 6-12 months work out by analysing the mares they have worked with.
Notice how 3 of these stallions are from [FF] 1 whilst the other two are from [FF] 16 & 18.
In Australia and NZ, you will see [apart from FF 1 & 2], that the important numbers seem to be 4-8-16. Each family has a story and so many winners come from a [FF] 9 mare.
PATTERN 2- Those with 100% abundance of {FF] 1-2-3-4-5

The stallions are equally outstanding: Snitzel, Extreme Choice, So You Think, Too Darn Hot, Ghaiyyath and Dundeel.
See the opposite pattern, only one horse Snitzel comes from the most populous [FF 1 or 2] mares, so the above champion stallions that carry a dupe of all [FF] 1-2-3-4-5 are from higher numbered [FF] mares, starting at no 12.
I suppose the outcome in your racehorse gets back to a good balance of your mare to the stallion - refer to a previous blog on "Champion Aust/NZ race mares" - in that particular blog i reference the stallion lineage/spine behind each race mare and you can see the importance i have stems outside of the traditional or dominant Pharos lines [Nearctic, Nasrullah, Royal Charger].
What about other "current/available stallions" - who carries similar patterns ?
Here is a snippet of those that carry the void of [FF] 3-4-5-6, it was a much larger report however i though it may give you a glance at those without any of these numbers

What about the "unproven or new stallions" -who carries similar patterns ?

Don't worry about the colours of the highlighting - was looking to keep champions and newbies separate.
Only one stallion shows the depth or abundance of all five [FF] 1-2-3-4-5 and this is Dalasan, a new stallion from the variation lineage of Mill Reef ~ Shirley Heights ~ Darshaan ~ Dalakhani. Let's hope he gets some nice quality broodmares to show his worth.

Whilst the opposite of Dalasan is true of those unproven stallions that do not have a dupe of [FF] 3-4-5-6 in their own five generation pedigree.
You can see only Peltzer emulates Written Tycoon in a total void of duplications through to [FF] 7. He like Written Tycoon [FF] 18 , is form a high number mare in [FF] 22 - a number which has produced so many outstanding broodmares throughout the world, so he could be one of those rare opportunties to serve your [FF] 22 broodmare.
So many champions have come from a stallion of the same number as the broodmare, this is a pattern seen throughout so many champions through the ages and a huge amount of other great horses also have this pattern sitting back in gen 2or 3 of their own pedigree, so they are a result or carry that significant pattern.
FUTURE BLOGS ON STALLION LINEAGE
Look out for the other blogs on patterns of stallion lineage, the dominance of Pharos lines need to be avoided in your racehorse and my current statistics show the following snapshot:
Each 5 gen pedigree of any stallion has exactly 16 stallions
Pharos is the dominant line, followed by Sickle and then a batch of another seven lines, after that we have scatterings of another 40+ lines present in the total of current serving stallions.
Pharos 2010
Sickle 441
Star Kingdom 277
Pharamond 213
Tenerani 211
Teddy 209
Fairway 142
Princequillo 132
Forli 91
All other lines are 50 or less......
